Allie and Huggy was created by Stephen Lyons, a Hollywood writer and screenwriter—and, most importantly, a dad.

For many years, Stephen told his little daughter, Allie, bedtime stories about her adventures with her favorite teddy bear, Huggy. Night after night, those stories grew into a whole world filled with funny characters, unexpected adventures, friendship, and imagination.

Eventually, Stephen turned those bedtime stories into books. Now, we’re sharing Allie and Huggy’s adventures with other families, hoping they bring the same laughter, comfort, and happy memories to other children that they brought to our daughter for so many years.
